CISR-UME will improve educational outcomes for undergraduate medical students and connect medical education to innovations in health and equity for people in Wisconsin and beyond.
We envision CISR-UME as a nationally recognized hub for undergraduate medical education scholarship that transforms innovative educational practices into rigorous, generalizable knowledge, fostering a vibrant community of scholars who advance the science of medical education and improve health outcomes for diverse populations.

Supporting Your Needs
We assessed SMPH faculty and staff needs to create areas of focus (see preprint):
- Expert Guidance and Consultation: We help you design rigorous studies, collect data, develop surveys, conduct interviews and focus groups, and navigate IRB.
- Research Support and Services: Access to experts in analytics and data science, quantitative and qualitative analysis tools, AI services, and project management structures.
